Highlighting our favorite entrepreneurs in Baton Rouge

In honor of Baton Rouge Entrepreneur Week, Bear Process Safety wanted to honor a couple of our favorite entrepreneurs in the city. We hope that this shout out not only gives them a little publicity but reminds them of the impact they have on the entrepreneurial community.

Mathew Laborde - CEO and President of Elifin Realty

From the beginning Matthew has been a supporter of Bear Process Safety. He was in THE original, “just do it” conversation that inspired me to build the company. ML is a testament to what hard work, creativity, and drive can really do. From power hours to creative ways to work an event Matthew challenges his own comfort zone to create the best commercial agency in Baton Rouge. Elifin Realty is not only creating a new kind of agency but changing the industry. Check him out @ www.elifinrealty.com

Jaratt Haviland - Owner of Sugar & Bronze

An absolute brilliant person (she was a scientist ya’ll) and a super mom, Jarrett is bringing the latest in women’s beauty to Baton Rouge. Her joy has created a culture that you can just feel when you walk into the salon. Though Sugar and Bronze is the premier salon in town offering sugaring, microblading, and new beauty products, she didn’t stop there. JH is taking this thing international baby, (to Japan and back) with the purchase of Keko Botanicals, which is moving production to Baton Rouge this year. Check her out @ www.sugarandbronze.com

Kenny Nguyen + Jeremy Beyt - Co-Founders of ThreeSixtyEight

With a name like ThreeSixtyEight, this marketing agency could only be created by two people most likely to name their business after a secret code they made up during the initial collaboration. One is a super connector, and the other is a creative genius, but what we love most is they are the embodiment of a candor + empathy intersection (a BPS core value). I know I’m biased since they had a hand in everything from our logo to website, but this is THE agency. You can see it in the team they’ve built. In the conversations they have had. In the community they are helping change. You already know @ www.threesixtyeight.com.

Juliana Hernandez - CEO of CPA Accounting

Juliana is the life raft that showed up during the beginning of BPS. She helped curb my spending and become an actual manager of my company’s financial future but so much more that than she inspired me. I saw her go from scrappy to BOSS level. Running an international team and handling clients that call her all hours of the day without breaking a sweat. Any financial need, report, request is done in an instant. I can’t tell you how many easy hours I’ve slept knowing her team has my back. You can tell in her passion that she loves to see her partners succeed, for that we are grateful. To the moon @ www.cpaccountingsolutions.com

Jon David Mahoney - CEO of MagicBusTV

A creative through and through. I know it’s BREW, but this dude DRIVES from Lafayette to BR to help bring my crazy visions to life. He understands an engineer trying to be a creative if that tells you this man’s genius. If you need a video, I beg you, plead with you, call JD. He will not disappoint. My dude’s crew may be shooting in LA soon if you don’t hurry. Give him a look @ www.magicbus.tv

Why did I write this? Because these entrepreneurs deserve to know they are impacting me. They are impacting the community.

Keep doing your thing Kings and Queens. Keep Rulin’. Everyone is taking note.
